Terms and Conditions

The Manufacturer MX Awards 2026 (“Awards”) are organised by Nineteen Group Limited and The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (“Organisers”).

Conditions of Entry

• By submitting an entry, you consent to nominee data provided during entry submission, the judging process, or the ceremony being shared with the relevant category and headline sponsor(s). Personal data will be processed by Nineteen Group Limited in accordance with our Privacy Policy

• By submitting an entry, you grant the Organisers a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable licence to review, analyse, and process the entry content for the purpose of producing anonymised or aggregated insights, trends, and data points relating to the entrant's business, products, services, or sector; save that content marked 'Not for Publication' by the entrant will not be used for this purpose. This licence does not extend to, and the Organisers will not process for this purpose, any personal data contained within the entry (including the names, contact details, or other information relating to identifiable individuals). Any insights, trends, or data points generated from entries will relate solely to businesses or sector-level trends, and will not identify any individual, business, or entrant, whether directly or in combination with other available information. The Organisers may use, publish, and distribute such anonymised or aggregated insights in any format and at their sole discretion, including in reports, marketing materials, and other content, without further reference to the entrant.

• Nominees who are nominated by others must also be informed of, and agree to, these Terms and Conditions. • All material will remain confidential to the Judges as they are bound by a Code of Conduct covering confidentiality, conflicts of interest, and contact with entrants. Entrants may mark sensitive parts of their entry as ‘Not for Publication’. This will be respected in all instances by the Organisers.

• We cannot be held responsible for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, illegible or incomplete or which cannot be entered for any technical or other reason.

• We cannot give an award to any organisation or person that cannot be contacted after the entry has been submitted. We cannot be held responsible for any errors made when submitting your entry, so please check the contact details you provide and update us on any changes.

• The decisions of the judges and the Organisers regarding the Awards, including shortlisting and winners, are final and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.

• A shortlist of finalists will be selected in each category from the entries submitted by the closing date. It is not possible to appeal the shortlisting.

• Shortlisted finalists will be notified by email or phone and will be invited to both participate in the second round of judging, and the Awards ceremony, where the winners will be officially announced.

• The shortlisted finalist must acknowledge this notification by no later than one week after receiving it. If the shortlisted finalist does not acknowledge the notification, we have the right to remove the finalist from the shortlist.

• Up until the date of the Awards ceremony, we reserve the right to remove a finalist from the shortlist in case the entry turns out to be false or fraudulent, or in case of circumstances concerning the participant that may cause detriment to the reputation of the Awards and/or to their related Intellectual Property Rights.

• The panel of judges will be announced on the Awards’ website and may change in the event of circumstances outside our control.

• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Awards where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond our control or operational requirements.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organisers shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in the Awards.
