Who is eligible to enter?

The Manufacturer MX Awards are open to UK-based manufacturing businesses of all sectors and sizes. As long as you are a manufacturer with a production facility based in the UK, you can enter!

Second Round Judging

When entering this awards programme, you must ensure that you are available to attend a meeting with the Judging Panel - dates will be outlined below when the 2026 edition launches soon.

New individual award categories are launching soon, giving you the chance to recognise the talent, leadership and innovation shaping the future of the sector. From inspiring leaders to sustainability champions, get ready to enter yourself or nominate someone who deserves the spotlight.

HOW ARE THE AWARDS JUDGED?

There are two rounds to the judging process.

First Round

  • Each entry will be assessed by a minimum of two, independent, unconnected judges.
  • The judges will evaluate your entry based on a review of the selected maturity levels and an assessment of the supporting evidence text.
  • Each judge will provide a score for the entry, with the total of these scores determining the companies progressing to the second round of judging.

Second Round

  • Each finalist will attend a meeting with the Judging Panel. Finalists will present for 15 minutes using their preferred media, followed by a 30 minute Q&A session.
  • After the second round of judging, each panel of category judges and assessors will discuss the results and select the winner of their category.
