
Elizabeth is a champion for the manufacturing sector, passionately changing perceptions, raising awareness. Advocate for women, always authentic, enthusing, empowering and encouraging others
Operated at Director level for over 30 years as MD of manufacturing awarding bodies she created opportunities for businesses and individuals for training and qualifications in the manufacturing and engineering sector. She was instigator of the Industry Apprentice Council (IAC) the first collective voice for apprentices which makes representation to Govt and Business groups. Elizabeth was the first woman director of BMPCA working with Siemens and Danieli across the UK. Currently a member of the education and skills at Metals Council which covers 11k companies 230k direct employees with an annual t/o 33B. Currently active as a Mentor and Trainer for Skills4 delivering award winning interventions and training programmes enabling manufacturing businesses to attract, retain and progress diverse talent. Elizabeth is the Upper Warden for the Worshipful company of tin Plate alias Wire Workers and a freeman of the city of London.
